Overview:
Badaly Engineering is a fast-growing design/build company offering full-service architectural and engineering services in the New York City & surrounding areas. We specialize in new residential and commercial buildings, in addition to offering a broad range of architectural and engineering design, inspection and investigation services. We also serve as an Inspection Agency.
We are seeking a full-time architect, who is hard-working, passionate about the field, and motivated to develop their career in our environment.
Job duties:
- Assist Project Architect or Engineer with new and on-going projects.
- Field Measurement & Condition Assessment of Existing Buildings.
- Preparation of architectural and engineering working drawings using CAD software.
- Coordination of design work with in-house staff.
- Organize projects and become knowledgeable of the current status of each project.
- Prepare and distribute project documents to local municipalities.
Required skills and education:
- Bachelor’s Degree of Architecture, Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- Intent to obtain RA or PE career path a plus.
- Self-starter with pro-active organizational skills who works seamlessly in a team.
- Proven success in meeting strict deadlines.
- Strong math and computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CAD software. Knowledge of Vectorworks or AutoCAD is a plus.
- NYC DOB Filing Representative is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation a plus.
