We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Estate Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a private residence in San Francisco. This is a hospitality-driven position where attention to detail, a strong sense of stewardship, and the ability to lead a household team are essential. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a background in managing luxury homes, who brings warmth, discretion, and a service mindset to their work. This role requires oversight of all household operations, from housekeeping and maintenance to event support and hospitality services, ensuring the property reflects the family's values, aesthetic, and lifestyle. Responsibilities: Oversee all daily operations of the residence and grounds Manage and support a household team, including housekeepers, chef, gardeners, and vendors Ensure high standards of cleanliness, service, and presentation across the property Coordinate with staff and leadership to anticipate and fulfill family and guest needs Maintain estate calendars and supervise service for events and guest visits Support the planning, setup, and execution of private events and entertainment activities, including vendor coordination and service, to create a welcoming and engaging guest experience. Ensure home systems (lighting, HVAC, security, etc.) function flawlessly in coordination with facilities team Maintain household inventories, budgets, and expense reporting Uphold staff protocols, scheduling, and training to ensure consistent, high-quality service Implement guest welcome procedures and manage all aspects of hospitality service Qualifications: Proven experience managing high-end private residences or estates Exceptional leadership, organization, and communication skills Deep knowledge of hospitality service and attention to aesthetic detail Familiarity with hosting events; prior event planning experience Familiarity with complex residential systems and maintenance A proactive, team-oriented, and discreet professional Comfortable using modern technology and office software Flexible to work varied hours, including weekends and occasional travel Local knowledge of San Francisco, including shops, markets, and restaurants Legally able to work in the U.S. with valid driver's license and passport Schedule: Full-time, includes frequent weekends and occasional holidays. This position is not hiring until the Fall of 2025.
