Job Description

My local construction client is looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Assistant Superintendent to support the successful execution of an renovation addition project in Miami. This initial project will be the stepping stone into a construction company that will be able to offer you growth and develop across commercial and multifamily projects.

🔨 What You’ll Do:

• Assist the Superintendent in managing daily site operations for interior and renovation projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, and inspections to keep projects on schedule.
• Monitor job site safety and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs and progress photos.
• Support quality control efforts and help resolve on-site issues in real time.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and trades.

🧱 What You Bring:

• 2+ years of experience in construction management, preferably in interiors or renovations.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety practices.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Proficiency with construction software (Procore, PlanGrid, etc.) is a bonus.
