Job Description

SUMMARY

Must be able to multi-task, have organizational and communication skills, and be detail oriented. Must be able to interact with customers and suppliers via email, telephone or in person as it relates to spare part sales and coordination. Should also be able to perform clerical, administrative, and analytical duties under limited supervision. Committed to professionalism, highly motivated and must contribute to the overall synergy of Spare Parts Service.

NOTE: Starting date is mid-June. Duration = approx. 3 months

Hours = in the beginning would be half days and could change to full days if needed and available.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

  • Able to efficiently use PC based software such as Microsoft Word & Excel.
  • Evaluate and Process customer orders received.
  • Organize incoming orders and maintain spare part deliveries for each customer order.
  • Must be able to prepare shipping and export documents such as Fed-Ex, UPS, Shipping Requests, etc., along with securely packing up the orders.
  • Assist the Manager of Spare Parts and co-workers with other Spare Part duties.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
  • Understands and follows safety & environmental regulations and identifies safety/environmental concerns.
  • Adheres to the Quality System and participates in continuous improvement.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Must be currently enrolled in college.
